Well this week started off rough. Thursday we went to a restaurant to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The only thing I could find to eat was the “Soup and Salad” option. I gained 2 pounds! Bummer! Then I watched a video about eating lots of calories in all fruit. I stuffed myself and didn’t lose any weight for 2 days. Weight Loss Update 04 – I’ve Lost 21 Pounds in 21 Days!

This week I lost another 6 pounds. So the total weight loss on the raw fruits and vegetables so far is 21 pounds. And I’ve done it in only 21 days! I have to admit, I’m starting to feel a lot better and like I’m going to actually achieve my weight loss goal. By the way, at this point in time, my goal is 165. Weight Loss Update – 03 – I’ve lost 15 pounds in 14 days!

Well, what do you know? This raw foods, fruit and vegetables, juices and smoothies thing actually seems to be working! When I weighed in this morning after being on raw foods 95% this week I had lost a total of 15 pounds since I started two weeks ago. (The reason it’s not 100% is because I steamed a beet which I quartered and have been adding to my salads in the evenings.) I’m pretty happy! The problem with BEFORE/AFTER photos and videos is you have to endure the “before” photo. That means being embarrassed about showing yourself to other people, admitting publicly you are overweight. This is my first weight loss update. Last Wednesday (June 29, 2011) I was out running errands around 6:00 pm and was hungry. I went to a fast food drive thru and got some corporate calories.
